
Founded in 2007, the Wish Ambulance Foundation works to help terminally ill patients with limited time bid farewell to life in a “good” way. The foundation fulfills the last wishes of patients of all ages. Retired police officer Frank Halter has been volunteering for the foundation for six years. The Good Death focuses on the last wishes of terminally ill patient Wim Beuving and his meeting with volunteer Frank Halter.

Director’s Biography:
Born in 1997 in Istanbul, he graduated from Akdeniz University, Department of Cinema. He directed and produced three documentaries: Meftun, Meryem Ana, and The Good Death. His films have been selected as finalists and screened at various festivals. The Good Death, a Turkish-Dutch co-production filmed in Rotterdam, was supported by Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
