UNDER THE SAME SKY. FILM FOR PEOPLE WHO DEFY LABELS is the International Film Selection within RIFE's first edition, that explores the exclusion and stigma over “gypsy” people throughout time in a different, non-dividing manner.
The special selection do not show what is usually expected of films on the subject, they do not show a "gypsy" way of life and do not turn exotic folklore into an attraction, but rather show the suffering of people caused by the imposing of labels.
