Director’s Biography:
Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov are an award-winning Bulgarian directing duo known for blending social realism, irony, and emotional depth. NATFA graduates, they gained international acclaim with “The Lesson” (2014), “Glory” (2016), and “The Father” (2019), winner of Karlovy Vary’s Crystal Globe. Their latest feature “Triumph” (2024) premiered in competition at Toronto IFF (Platform). Their recent project Zlatyu’s Dog (2024) is an innovative hybrid film inspired by the painter Zlatyu Boyadzhiev.
