The program of the Sixth International Rhodope Film Festival will include the following events:
CONCERT
ROSENQUARZEXPRESS is a project by Iliana Beshkova. Formed in Germany in 2011, the band has had various incarnations with different musicians or a solo version and has traveled throughout Central and Eastern Europe. The musical style can be defined as psychedelic dream-pop-rock and blues, new and bold wave, ambient and even Balkan folklore, without losing originality and falling into genre clichés. The lyrics of the songs are also a mixture of different languages, a real Tower of Babel: Bulgarian, English, German, Russian.

CRITIQUE FORUM: WORKSHOPS
A program for emerging documentary film critics, led by established industry specialists. Participants will undergo a comprehensive training initiative that blends theory, practice, and full immersion into the international festival ecosystem. Lectures will span the entire critical spectrum—from review structure and analytical frameworks to the ethical and social dimensions of critical writing. Special emphasis will be placed on the critic’s role as a mediator between the artwork and the audience, as well as on fostering a more active presence for documentary cinema in the public sphere. Selected texts will be published on the festival’s website.
CONCERT
GREESH is a grunge-funk band that mixes the explosive energy of grunge, based on the foundations of funky groove, distinguished by a strong emotional and characteristic sound. With new singles and active concert activity, after participation in festivals such as Hills of Rock, the band is establishing itself as one of the interesting names of the contemporary alternative scene in Bulgaria.
