The director traces the origin and effects left by the theatre program that she led for fifteen years in Bulgaria and Africa, involving over 5,000 orphan children and youth, and over 300 artists from four continents. She meets various participants over the years, be they sponsors, artists, social workers, directors of institutions, or grown children, who share their experience about the power of theatre to transform lives and the power of the play for human nature

Elena Panayotova is a theatre director with thirty years of experience. She has staged over 50 theatre performances that have been part of various European and national festivals, as well as being distinguished by numerous nominations and awards. This film is her debut.
