
In an environment marked by exploitation and clandestine labour in Calabria, a group of farm workers finally glimpses a different possibility: a regular job, with a contract and decent working conditions, during the orange harvest. But after just five days of work, the promise falls apart—they are ordered to stop and wait in the orange grove.

Director’s Biography:
Davide Tisato completed a master’s degree in documentary film at EICTV in Cuba. His first short documentary “Carbon” was shown at important international festivals and won several awards. Arance Amare is his second short film, co-directed. He is currently working on his first feature film in his home village in Italy. Noé Coussot is a filmmaker and sound engineer. In 2020, he founded the audiovisual production company Image Fracas within this framework, he creates his films.
