
This is Fukushima(Japan). A railway line runs through a town deep in the mountains where more than 3m(9ft) of snow accumulates in winter, and is on the verge of being closed due to huge losses. On a day when a special train with three cars carrying tourists is running, an unnamed old man appears at the foot of the railway bridge. he is planning to perform a performance of gratitude all by himself for the tourists who have come all the way.

Director’s Biography:
Born in Fukushima (Japan). He worked for a national institution (Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare) from 1980 to 2014. After retiring, he taught himself film techniques. He is a director of non-profit documentary films. He is currently working vigorously on documentary films. He owns an independent non-profit production company based in Fukushima called “YELLOW SHEEP FILMS”.
