A blazing sun shines over the cliffs. In the sky, hundreds of bird shadows begin to circle and descend toward a spot where several sheep carcasses lie. The silence is overwhelming. Then suddenly, in a single tumultuous motion, dozens of vultures swoop down on the carrion like a wave of feathers, beaks, and bones.

Director’s Biography:
Hippolyte Burkhart-Uhlen is a documentary filmmaker who graduated from IFFCAM, after studying at Ciné-Sup (Nantes) and INSAS (Brussels). He lives and works in the Vosges mountains, and his films explore our relationship with Nature, seeking to create a sensory and immersive cinema experience.
