While in rehab, a young man recounts his descent into gambling addiction. The animated documentary “King” offers an intimate insight into a psychological illness that is often overlooked.

EMILY UFKEN was born in Weilburg in 1997 and currently lives in Marburg where she is studying psychology for her master’s degree. She also works as a freelance artist. While her beginnings are in drawing with pencil and watercolor, her current focus lies on digital illustrations and motion graphics. ”King” is Emily’s first film project.
