    “Living with the Taliban” offers a powerful glimpse into life in Afghanistan after the Taliban’s return to power in 2021. Through personal stories, the film portrays both the supporters of the new regime and those whose lives have been tragically altered, capturing the country’s ongoing struggle between hope and despair.

    Director’s Biography:

    Siarhei Marchyk – producer, director, and cinematographer. For over 15 years, he has focused on armed conflicts and socio-political transformations around the world. He has made documentaries in Iraq, Syria, Venezuela, Armenia, Belarus, Afghanistan, and Ukraine. Graduate of the Dok Pro program at the Wajda School. Founder of Marchello Production and FreeDoc Foundation.

    Witold Repetowicz, born in 1975 in Zabrze, is a journalist, author of books and documentary films, a doctor of security studies, and a lecturer at the War Studies Academy in Warsaw. He collaborates with the Info Ops Foundation, the Pulaski Foundation, and the Defence24 portal. He is the author of the books “Its Name is Kurdistan” (2016), “Allah Akbar: War and Peace in Iraq” (2019), and “Security and Identity: Ethnosectarianism and Tribalism in Iraq” (2023).
