Every day a person wakes up, washes up, has his breakfast, gets on a crew bus and goes to work. His job is to detect and neutralize deadly ammunition. A routine, everyday death risk. This is a film about people freeing the earth from the death that other people have left in it. Azerbaijan ranks first in the world in terms of land contaminated by mines. 1,500,000 is the number of mines buried in our land.

Director’s Biography
Born in 1965 in Baku. 1989 he graduated from VGIK Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. 1983 – 1985 – served in the army. Film director and scriptwriter. The winner of the award for the best short film – the Silver Lion of the Venice Film Festival 2003. Performed as an actor in films directed by Peter Greenaway and Larisa Sadilova. NIPKOW PROGRAM scholar, Germany. Author of the short story collection “The Anthropologist’s Departure” and the novel “Madagascar. Hitler Gave Us a Country”.
