Director’s Biography:
Jurg Slabbert holds an MA in Documentary Directing cum laude from the DOC NOMADS consortium. Alongside lecturing at two South Africa universities, he has directed and edited various lifestyle and true-crime TV series. In 2022, his first fiction short, “On/Off”, screened at over 115 festivals. Jurg co-owns What a Coincidence Productions, of which “Concerto” is its first short doc. Other projects, including the fiction short “Bushalte” and the feature doc “Goliath”, are in development.
