The film tells the story of the struggle for democracy, freedom of speech, and environmental protection led by one of the best-organized civic organizations during the communist era. The story is told by several of the founders of the movement, namely the late Deyan Kyuranov, Dimitrina Petrova, and Lilyana Aleksandrieva.

Director’s Biography:
Miroslav Golemanski is originally from Sofia, Bulgaria. He began studying Film Production at Bournemouth University of the Arts (England). After two years, he moved back to Bulgaria where, following a series of internships in the Bulgarian film industry, he continued his film education at New Bulgarian University (NBU). At the same time, he worked as a production assistant or props master on a variety of productions and produced his own projects—short films and music videos.
