The film is an experimental attempt to process personal trauma through art. The protagonist, being 8 months pregnant, was diagnosed with breast cancer. This event disrupted the joy associated with the birth of the child.

Director’s Biography:
Magdalena Hueckel is a visual artist, researcher, filmmaker and theatre photographer. Tomasz Śliwiński is a film director and scriptwriter, member of the Documentary Directors Guild of Poland, Polish Filmmakers Association and documentary film tutor at Warsaw Film School. They are both based in Warsaw. They often collaborate on the production of films and artistic projects. Their short documentary film “Our Curse” was nominated for the Academy Award in 2015.
