A film about foreigners who have turned their interest in Bulgarian and Balkan folklore into their passion and way of life. Their hearts dance every time they take up the horo, when they sing a Bulgarian folk song or play the uneven rhythms. They live with this music – they fall in love, suffer, draw inspiration and strength for the difficult moments in life. In their distant countries, they have brought not only Bulgarian folklore tradition, but also a piece of the uneven Bulgarian soul

Director’s Biography:
Sofia Stoycheva, scriptwriter and director, graduated in TV Journalism at SU “St. Kliment Ohridski” and specialized with a master’s degree in “Bulgarian Philology”. Specialized in “Filmmaking” at NATFA “Krastyo Sarafov” under the mentorship of Prof. Georgi Dyulgerov. “Soul Beyond Measure” is her debut full-length film.
