
A special and unique relationship between an aging Israeli farmer and his Thai workers raises critical questions regarding identity and agendas, challenging capitalist notions and the Zionist vision. Together they try to salvage what remains of their dreams.

Director’s Biography:
Nir Dvortchin is a Documentary filmmaker. His short documentary Turn over the stones premiered at IDFA in 2016 and won the best student film at DocAviv in 2017. In recent years, Nir has been working on two full-length documentaries, in parallel with his work as a film editor. Thai-Land is his first feature documentary.
