A film about how I deal with the painful fact that the world today is not how I imagined it would be 50 years ago. Images of today’s world collide with fragmentary recollections, with poetic texts and with J. S. Bach’s St. Matthew Passion. An essay film about the fragility of my existence in unbridled capitalism.

Christian Labhart is a director and writer, known for Appassionata (2012), Passion – Between Revolt and Resignation (2019) and Giovanni Segantini – Magic of Light (2015).
