Director’s Biography:
Dima El-Horr’s work explores the way histories of war inscribe themselves onto bodies and shape the personal and the collective memory. Her films, “Every Day Is a Holiday” and “Conversation with Siro & Zeinab al Moto”, many times awarded, have been screened at international festivals. Dima holds a Ph.D in film studies, Université Paris-Est, an MFA from School of the Art Institute – Chicago. She published the book “Mélancolie libanaise, le cinéma après la guerre civile”, l’Harmattan, 2016.
